Why are LiFePO4 Lithium Battery Pack viable alternative to lead-acid batteries?
Because of the nominal 3.2 V output, four cells can be placed in series for a nominal voltage of 12.8 V. This comes close to the nominal voltage of six-cell lead-acid batteries. LFP chemistry offers a longer cycle life than other lithium-ion approaches.The charge-discharge profiles of LFP cells are typically very flat. The main drawback of LiFePO4 is its low electrical conductivity. Therefore, all the LiFePO4 cathodes under consideration are actually LiFePO4/C (composite made with carbon). Because of low cost, low toxicity, well-defined performance,long-term stability, etc. LiFePO4 is finding a number of roles in vehicle use, utility scale stationary applications, and backup power.

Features of LiFePO4 Lithium Battery Pack
Thermal shock
Put the battery pack in the oven. Raise the temperature of the oven with 5±2℃ per minute to 130±2℃ and lasts 30 minutes.
Criteria: No fire, no explosion.
Over Discharge
Discharge the battery pack with constant current of 6A to discharge ending voltage, then connect the battery pack to external load of 300 ohm for 24 hours.
Criteria: No fire, no explosion, no smoke, no leakage.
Short Circuit
After standard charging, connect the anode pole to cathode pole of the battery pack's discharge terminal by lead with impedance less than 100mΩ, keep 1 hour.
Criteria: No fire, no explosion, no smoke, no leakage.
Over Charge
Charge the battery pack with constant current of 2.4A to charge ending voltage, then charge the battery pack with 18V of charge ending voltage,and with the constant voltage 10 hours,or until the cell voltage will not rise.
Criteria: No fire, no explosion.
