Q1: Is lithium safe?
A1: LifePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) is the safest battery chemistry available, and is non combustible / non flammable.
Our BMS (battery management system) is integrated in each battery and will detect any problems with the performance of the battery and shut down any cells not functioning properly. The BMS will also protect the batteries from over-charging or undercharging of the batteries. FedEx and UPS have approved our product for air and ground shipping.
Q2: Are the batteries waterproof?
A2: They can not be put completely under water. Water can be splashed on them and they will be okay.
